This year, instead of amplifying one voice, we open the conference with a conversation. Vera Al-Mawla, Moe Sasaki & Graeme Simpson brought different perspectives into a discussion about trust, positionality, marginalised voices, art & youth-centred approaches, and share how these may play into reimagining social contracts for peace. Hearing from the distinct geographical and organisational contexts the speakers bring, we together explored how local youth-work, regional initiatives and institutional processes of global governance speak to each other in furthering a more inclusive and creative peace processes.
