Announcing KPAC24's Co-Hosts!

In April, we announced that we had opened calls for partners for KPAC 24, our annual conference. KPAC 24 will be held this fall in Dakar, Senegal. We are proud to announce that we now have two partner organisations: the Gorée Institute and REPAOC.  

The Gorée Institute:  

The Gorée Institute is a pan-African civil society organization whose mission is to contribute to the establishment of peaceful, equitable and self-sustaining societies in Africa, to strengthen political dialogue for the peaceful resolution of conflicts, to contribute to the consolidation of democratic processes and institutions, and to encourage artistic, social and economic creativity. The Gorée Institute accomplishes its mission through research, facilitation and intervention, working closely with African regional and sub-regional authorities, African civil society organizations and African citizens. 

Reseau des Plates Formes d’ONG d’Afrique de l’Ouest et du Centre (REPAOC): 

REPAOC (in English, the Network of West and Central African NGO Platforms) is made up of 10 national NGO platforms with more than 1,000 NGOs total working directly with the most marginalized populations. The objective of REPAOC is to work collectively to reduce poverty and to promote human rights at the regional and international levels in the context of North-South inequalities but also more and more South-South.
